Four small habits for clearer scans

Capture pages that are easy to read.

Tips

In this guide
  1. Give the page some room
  2. Choose soft, even light
  3. Check before you save
  4. Build a file you can find again

Give the page some room

Keep the whole page visible, with a little space around every edge. A contrasting surface helps you see the page boundary.

Choose soft, even light

Avoid a strong shadow across the page and move away from glare. Keeping the camera steady helps preserve small text.

Check before you save

Look at the corners, orientation, and text. Adjust the page and make sure you have captured every page you need.

Build a file you can find again

Save the PDF with a useful name and place it in a relevant folder. Open it on another synced device when you need to continue there.
